Well, it's finally here! My first post on my new blog. I am so excited to start sharing my latest thoughts, projects, and adventures with you all!
You will find a wide variety of topics covered on this blog in the future when I really get things rolling. Some of those topics include home decor, DIY, gardening, animals, farming, reviews on products, and more!
My life does not consist of very many over the top & exciting things, but I am happy with my life. It is simple and it is blessed. To be honest, it mostly consists of work, cleaning, cooking, taking care of our animals, and did I mention cleaning? Ever since I got married back in October, I feel like my life consists of CLEANING. Maybe it is because we have two dogs that are indoor/outdoor, and my husband is always in and out of the house doing work and tracking in trash/mud.... so it seems like I am always cleaning! I guess that is what you get for trying to keep up with a farm? I am not complaining. Cleaning is not my favorite thing in the world... but I love being a wife and having these wifely duties to keep up with. I wouldn't trade this life for anything!
My husband and I are still young (22 and 23) and while most couples our age are doing exciting things on the weekends, our weekends mostly consist of working on our farm, and we love to go antique/thrift shopping when we have the extra time. I guess we are old souls, or maybe we are just boring? I haven't quite figured that out yet. 😛
I am going to try and blog at least once a week, so make sure you check back frequently.
Post a comment or send an e-mail so I know that my efforts are not in vain here.
Keep posting! Love & miss you!

Hi Kris! Thank you so much for your nice comment. I am very excited to get my blog rolling!
DeleteDropped in from Connie's blog to say hi and welcome you to the blogging world. No need to ever apologize for being a young woman who loves to live simply and close to the earth. You're years ahead of your peers in wisdom! No doubt a result of your relationship with the Lord. As and older woman, I admire your choice. God bless you. Nancy
ReplyDeleteThank you for checking out my blog, Nancy! Your kind comment came at the right time, I was needing a smile this morning. Thank you for your encouragement. God Bless you as well.
